How this works

To get started, simply select the perfect photo that you want to be painted and choose the size from the price chart provided below. You can then send me the photo via email at davekimbrell3@gmail,com  or by regular mail (I will return all photos that are mailed to me).

Once I receive the photo and confirm the size, I will require a 50% deposit before starting your work. You will have to send me your deposit in order to get in line.  The remaining balance will be due after the painting is completed and you have approved the final product. Final payment will include the price of shipping and any other cost that may, by your request, shall be added. Such as framing and large foam boards cost for packaging paintings done on large canvases.

If you don't have the ideal photo, don't worry! You can send me multiple photos and I will combine them to create the perfect portrait. Many of the paintings that I create are a blend of images that I pull together for the best result.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call me at 404-451-9433. The estimated wait time for completion is 2-3 weeks from when I start working on the piece, and your place in line will be secured upon receipt of your deposit.

About Me

As an artist with a lifelong passion for creativity, I have had the privilege of studying in various locations around the world, including New Orleans Louisiana, Aspen Colorado, Florence Italy, Dallas Texas, Memphis Tennessee, Snowmass Colorado and Atlanta Georgia. Over the years, I have worked in numerous mediums, including the movie industry where I learned how to carve Styrofoam that is hard-coated.

While I enjoyed working with various mediums, my favorite form of creativity was carving stone. My work in this medium can be viewed on the sculpture page. Unfortunately, due to the physical demands of stone carving, I have had to shift my focus to other forms of art. Currently, I specialize in portrait painting, which I have come to love deeply.

As an artist, nothing brings me greater joy than creating a piece of art that brings my clients to tears. The ability to capture the essence of a person's character and personality in a single work of art is a powerful and deeply rewarding experience.

With over 50 years of experience creating original works of art, I am confident in my ability to bring your vision to life. If you are interested in commissioning a portrait or any other type of original work of art, I would be honored to work with you and create something that you will cherish for years to come.
